Dr. Gelman at NJ Dental 1 is the best dentist I've ever had in the US! He's super professional, really knows his stuff, and actually cares about saving you money where he can. Plus, he's just a cool guy. The whole office is friendly, from the receptionists to the doctor himself. I never have to wait in line and they are always sensitive to my appointment times.

Scam scam SCAM, I don't know what happen after covid but 90% of dentists are all lying and trying to force you to get some made up surgery. That's what DR. Gelman tried to do to my husband last week. Luckily we know when these doctors are tryna pull one over your head. Smh do better, no wonder you never have any patient's, it's always empty. We have a voice recording with you admitting to lying too. You deserve 0 stars. And you pay bot's to LIE AND GIVE YOU 5 STARS DAMN SHAME!!🚫⛔⛔⛔⛔⛔📵

This place is a scam! Stay away. Dr. Gelman is a deceitful individual. First, he lied and stated that there was a temporary crown in my mouth, which was a lie. Then he stated, that my temporary filling was a build up that required a 7 month surgery. I informed him that I have proof that there is no temporary crown in my mouth and that all there is, is a temporary filling. He got caught in his lie and admitted to lying. Stay away from him and if you went to him, get a second opinion from another dentist. Do not trust him.

I took my mother to Dr. Gelman's office three times and I would leave him a 5 star review if not because of the last time. My mother had to have filler in 10 teeth at all four quadrants. He was super nice with good skills during the first two visits. However, at the end the the second visit, I asked him if he could do more than one quadrant at once because the office hour is hard for my work. He agreed and said that he could do the rest 3 quadrants all together during next visit. During the last visit, he told us that he could only do 2 quadrants that day. I was ok with it and he blocked the 2 quadrants. After he finished the first quadrant, he told us that he couldn't do anymore even though he already blocked the other quadrant. My mother was scared of needles again and begged him to finish the other quadrant. He finally agreed to do it but spent 10 minutes on that quadrant which usually would be a 40 minute work for other sites. He did not even bother to use gingival retraction cord to inspect the whole defect. Funny enough, he asked for a thumb up at the end!
